After a twelve-year relationship with Dunya, Sanne decides to build a new life for herself. She moves from Amsterdam to a town thirty kilometres away. There, she tries to feel at home and get her life back on track. During her first summer, she meets Luus, an intriguing young woman who works at a plant nursery just outside of town.
